Also a good price, there's a few offer's on the polaroid...for me a budget 37" for £370 is spot on...is 1080p worth the difference? I can't tell with my PS3

This looks pretty good! I have been looking to upgrade from my BEKO 28 in 'ordinary' tv. Our budget is tight and the payment plans on these look great too! Thanks. I know theres loads of snobs on here (see ohminesanad above) who couldn't lower themselves to such an inferior product, but we've been happy with a Beko so I am sure we'll be happy with this!
Thanks again.

As above, name doesn't matter that much.. It looks okay and it's a great price.

Is the specs good? I don't mean like comparing to a Sony 42" 1080p Full HD, but for average home viewing..

Thanks

Guys serially don't even bother with these garbage televisions... get yourself a decent plasma ... spend £50 - 100 more making sure it is HD ready not 1080p. It will be miles better than all these 1080p full HD lcds for simply "watching television" and dvds which to be honest is what people mostly do on televisions!

Voted cold on the account that these tvs really are poor and not worth the money....

I really don't understand. Is this not just a tv? What is HD ready? I don't have HD and am not likely to if you have to pay for it. We have an Xbox 360, which has been played quite happily through an CRT (?) ordinary big heavy boxy tv. We have watched tv through this ordinary tv as well!!! I don't have an extra £50-£100, and when I've looked in shops I cannot tell the difference between plasma and lcd. It is all way beyond me. Perhaps when looking to buy stuff we are not all the same!!
(Thank goodness, as to be honest I am really not bothered!!)

I know exactly how you feel. I'm thinking of "upgrading" from a 21" crt to a 32" lcd (no bigger). I don't want to spend loads - I just watch tv on it (freeview, no HD or anything) and the occasional dvd. The more I've researched the more confused I've become!! I would like an extended warranty however, but would it end up worthless if the store goes belly up (eg. Empire Direct)?
