Famous Grouse Whisky 50cl for £7.00 instore at Asda

FOUND BY: alictait 9 months, 2 weeks ago

Been to my Local store today (Newmains) and they had the 50cl bottles of Famous Grouse for £7.00 which is 4p more than the half bottle.

Now confirmed Nationwide, however the 50cl bottle.

Incidentally it was a different style of bottle than it normally is as this one looked like a clear Baileys bottle.

I saw this on Wednesday and forgot to post it. They had loads (Govan) and it was cheaper than the own brand for Grouse!

My maths is terrible, but I think I have got this right . . .

If it's £7 for 70cl, that is the equivalent of £10 a litre.

If so, that is a really great price.

Please can some clever person confirm my maths?

(And yes, Grouse is acknowledged to be one of the finest blended whiskies. Ignore the knockers on this thread!)
