Sorry, cold from me. It might seem cheap but you would do better spending a bit more money and going 18V.

I'd take the claim that it will drill 10mm steel with a bit of salt, but otherwise a good deal - hot

It actually says 8mm on the box and that would be pushing it, for me though its mainly used for drilling wood and screwing stuff.

the 9.99 Draper from Sainsburys is an outstanding deal. I bought one when the deal was posted at the time and its been used continuously since the day ive bought it. Very good indeed and surprisingly can infact drill through masonry unlike many other cheap cordless drills

I picked up one of these the other day.

I doesnt have an automatic cut-off for the charger, so don't overcharge the battery!

I agree, I've had one of these for just under 3 years and can't fault the thing. Will pop into the Dorchester Branch and buy another. Can't go wrong at this price

Already mentioned, but there was a deal for a 14V cordlss drill from Sainsburys for £4.99. I bought one, suitable for small jobs. Makes this one seem cold.
Unable to find the Sainsburys deal, whats up with the search function? or maybe I'm stupid.

Lol, did a google search and found the deal that way. not sure if still available.

I don't bother with the search on forums anymore they're all crud. I just search for the item + the name of the website in Google eg "Sainsburys drill Hot UK Deals". It always brings up better results!
