I paid £160 for my Shure 430 headphones and they're worth every penny.
Two drivers in them for a great dynamic range and they really are very good at drowning out the drone of an airplane for instance. Superb bits of kit.

I'm just saying £1 earphones from asda. Who cares about quality - it isnt that noticeable. You could buy 200 pairs of asda earphones, somehow link them all up and create a speaker megasystem thats surely better than these. RIP OFF

Who cares about quality? I do for one. You may not care if you're listening to downsampled, overcompressed, clipped garbage that is released as 'music' these days for people to download to their phones but I want to listen to my music the way the artist intended it to sound and through a £1 pair of earphones is not the way to do it (better deal at poundland anyway, you get 2 pairs there for £1) - and I don't think I'd fork out over £200 either........
