Setting up automatic cashback... possible?

POSTED BY: neomayemer 9 months, 2 weeks ago

Hey

I know virtually everyone here is familiar with using cash back sites such as quidco and cashbackkings etc. Im sure you all like me always make that odd purchase where you forget to check for potential cash back and miss out on a potential earner.
I was hoping that someone out there might know a way to automate the clickthrough procedure you must undertake when visiting a site through one of the cashback sites. They use cookies to set the information on your computer so if a home-made router was used would it be possible? Possibly using a .pac script? Im guessing a commercial one would not have anything like what is required.

I have been mulling it over for a while and was hoping someone else might have an idea where to start.

Any input is appreciated

on greasypalm they have a rebate catcher, tracks all the pages you visit nd automatically pays cashback without going there first

With Rebate Catcher installed, on most occasions that you may have forgotten to log in to your account we will display a small reminder window whenever you visit a participating retailer. This window will confirm the rebate amount and any special conditions of the offer plus it will automatically write your special tracking code our retailers require - ensuring your purchase is tracked.

That last bit is what i'm looking for except at the household router level rather than an individual machine basis, plus it doesn't work on firefox unfortunately.
