The driver software does not have options to control the fan (I dont think). Their is a hardware add-on if you register.

It is pretty loud, came downstairs and thought my kettle was on in the next room.

Submit a ticket to XFX support and they'll send you a transistor to slow the fan down makes it whisper quiet and my temperature hasn't been affected
