who needs extended warrenties anyways ,ring your house insurance as k if it needs to be put on it or not,its covered forever, with mine it is anyways,i knocked my monitor over and of the pc desk when doing something and they gave me a credit note to buy a brand new one again, even kept the old one lol, which funnily enough started working again after a while.

and no i didnt scam them,it did stop working.
when connecting to xbox or freeview as said u need dvi/hdmi adapter(about £3) and external speakers

19inch monitors are 10 a penny now and are dirt cheap because everyone wants bigger and with better resolution so they can use it for HD movies and gaming if i where you keep the money and put it towards a minimum of a 22inch.

As for using this with a 360 that would be mad when the 360 is 1080p capable and this monitor is 1440x900 and who mentioned plugging a freeview box in why would you go to the trouble can you even get freeview boxes with HDMI out i don't think you can as HDMI is a high def out put and free view isn't high def and what would you use for speakers or would you read the subs.
