They are noise-reducing headphones. Whatever you feed them with, they will reduce the level of ambient noise that you hear to a certain extent.

I they would work, but I would be worried about how loud you can get the music. Even my PX100's cannot go as loud as in ear headphones, so these might take too much poer to get to a good volume in a Zen.

Something about impedance and ohms, try google.

Something to think about anyway.
