SugarRay:
You would be protected via Paypal if you bought it from Telektro though but i must agree it looks dodgy!
I think you'd have to be very gullible to rely on PayPal to safeguard you against SUCH a dodgy looking website. A domain setup in the last few days with an "Inc" and american spellings and according to some people who bothered to research a bit further a false postcode, an out of service number, etc etc. (Of course if it is a genuine/legitimate/honest website then it is their own fault for designing in about 99 of the 100 dodgy website danger signs into their website.)
You should be asking who protects you from PayPal too ?
They aren't a member of any UK regulation or protection scheme are they ?

I use them with my eBay a/c as an act of necessity not from ANY wish to do so.
My elderly father in law setup a PayPal a/c to buy a bit for a water softener and within a couple of days his PayPal account (with a weak password as ALLOWED by their lousy system) had been raided for a few hundred US dollars, FLAGGED by PayPal themselves as suspicious but they still handed over the money and it took several weeks and a LOT of confusion for me as a very experienced technologist AND accountant to work through PayPal's every more confused/confusing methods to try to get his money back AND his a/c under control. Totally frustrating waste of a half a day even though he did fortunately get his couple of hundred quid back eventually AND he's learned his lesson! PLEASE don't you be a mug too.
