The new cards due in a couple of weeks that's %20-%30 faster and has a die shrink. I originally posted this days ago to hexus and after being told about it i cancelled it because you can expect the 4870 to drop to the price point of the 4850 and the 4850 to drop to around the £80 mark so your **** hot cheap card will cost you money and there will be something way faster within weeks for a few pound more if you must have a fast card like me you would be a fool to buy this as it will be cheaper and outpaced by its replacement you would be better to wait the couple of weeks and there is speculation that the price drop will happen within a few days so be warned it has dropped over a £1 in a day.

that is in fact sound advice. i came across similar information. a wair for a few days is not a problem for me. or even a few weeks.

with streetfighter 4 on the horizon i can wait.
