ATI HD 4670 512MB PCI-E Graphics Card £59.79 Delivered @ Novatech

£59.79

465°

FOUND BY: nick_sub 8 months, 3 weeks ago

Amazing price for a 4670, probably the lowest ever. The photo was recently changed to show a Powercolor card, although the last batch were Palits so be prepared for either if you order one (but I suspect they'll be Powercolors). Both are great cards and don't need any external power so should be fine with a 350W PSU on most systems. The Powercolor is a single height card by the looks of it so there shouldn't be any problems in small cases either (the Palit is double height).

Full review of the Powercolor here:
http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Powercolor/HD_4670/1.html

Edit 5/3/09: Up to from £54.04 to £55.19 now but still a great deal - plus 3% cashback through Quidco!
Edit 6/05/09: Up to £57.49 now. Still the cheapest 4670 around though.
Edit: 9/05/09: Up to £59.79. Inflation gone mad. Still the cheapest 4670 out there, but obviously not the bargain it was at £54.

Check out the Tom's Hardware chart I posted above. The 9800GT is faster.

Supposedly the prices of the 4850 and 4870 will be coming down this week in America at least.. Not sure if it will be the same here.

Would this be alright in a 300w system? I've already got a 9500GT running in it without any problems.

According to this the 4670 uses about 10W moew than the 9500GT at maximum load:
http://www.insidehw.com/Reviews/Grap...GT/Page-5.html

It depends on the rest of your system, but assuming it's pretty standard system then I expect it would be OK. Also depends on the quality of your PSU though as some poor ones won't even manage their rated capacity and the better ones will be able to provide more than rated.
