The storage will only take that specific style of dumbells.

So basically just a bench.

Put the money towards a smith machine - and get a bench that will take your weight and your max target benchpress with some extra to be on the safe side.

Good price, but people must take account of the weight limits ....

Max User weight - 25stone - ie c 160 kg

Max weight load (user and weights) - 200kg

So if any "larger" users around, you have a whopping 40kg of weights you can safely use !

Obviously, as we are not all that large, the capacity for using weights increases as our bodies are smaller - but still, at a reasonable weight of 18 stone (well, I tell my wife it is about average these days) it would only leave me c 85kg capacity.

I wouldn't knock the product or the price - just be aware of your own weight and your potential - for "smaller" chaps (and chappesses) this could be a good buy.

For the benefit of anyone pondering the buy...

Arrived the other day and I built it this morning.

There was no damage when opened and tbh I was pleasantly surprised with the look, feel and design of the main structure, I felt I had got value for money.

Building it was a scoosh, a grandma friendly diagram and all the fittings & fixtures were laid out on a card depicting the parts in picture with the actual parts shrink wrapped onto the actual picture on the card - idiot proof. All the tools to build were also shrink wrapped to the card.

Everything fitted together fine, no MFI hole mis-alignment syndrome to report

Just the weight for the weights now.

In summary glad I bought, dunno what I expected from it but I was left with a 'money well spent feeling'.

Golds Gym Maxi Dumbell Bench £45.00
Golds Gym 12 kilo Chrome Dumbells With Carry Case £39.99
[x2 1kilo, x2 2kilo, x2 3kilo]

Under the ton cant be bad, what price do you put on health, anyroads a few weeks with no takeaways will offset that lol
