Then don't be so lazy and go into John Lewis... I find it easier when people learn to read as it is stated in the first post that this printer is available instore as is out of stock online at the moment. I did not say anything negative about Amazon, just that John Lewis aftersales department is a lot easier to deal with than Amazon, something I'm sure over 90% of people would agree with (Amazon being a website and all). So I would say firstly - learn to read, secondly - put your new found skill (reading) into practice, thirdly - don't type stupidity, coming on here 2 attack people trying to help others. Buy from Amazon - good for you, I don't care. But don't talk to me like a derkhead.
However there are no branches of John Lewis in Northern Ireland, making it somewhat difficult or expensive to pop in-store (not lazy though!).
Being a web-based forum, where most deals are online, I think most readers actually prefer to order online.
I don't need to learn to read, I did read what you put, however if I (as most) people wanted to order online, it would be fair to say that the Amazon offer would be superior to the non-stock John Lewis offer!
I also didn't type "stupidity" (whatever that means) I just made a lighthearted factual comment. I was not flaming, "attacking" or otherwise belittling you, however I think you have done a good job of that yourself!
I agree, if you live close to a JL store then great, if not Amazon is better! FYI I even voted the deal HOT as it is a good deal for a high street!
Peace and regards
