I know so many people addicted to this drink including me. It's the unique friuty taste. I was interested to find out it's origins and surprised to find out a 100 years ago it was originally a tonic to give as a remedy for people feeling under the weather as it's made with herbs and spices . more info on the vimto website.

Yes, that's probably the case.

It makes absolutely perfect sense for the makers to allow the sale of sub-standard Vimto and just hope that customers who buy it will buy more in future! .
