Definitely worth mentioning! Is that the "B" at the end of the model number then?

I was just about to say I'm sure this set has been posted on here for around £500 for months now

this tv, despite what a review says, only seems capable of going upto 720p and this is really worth noting.

Not a great price, I got this TV for £630 over eight months ago, it's worth spending the extra £30-40 odd on the new model IMO, although there's no doubting this is still a fantastic TV.

The B in the model number means black.

Couldnt disagree more, a tv of this size its hardly noticable at 2 metres between 1080p and 720p. infact some avforums members prefer this to the 1080p PZ version. The reviews wouldnt of been so good if it wasnt a great tv

Great tv for the price, although the new X10 is even better and not that much more

It's true, believe me, you don't need 1080p on a 42" set.

Can't say I find this price all that great either, considering it's now the 'older' model and the fact that I bought mine in January for just £450 from Dixons!

Got this from John Lewis 6 months ago and love it, couldn't recommend it enough to anyone. It gets used for PS3 and SkyHD and the picture quality is stunning for the price, lots of great reviews online but just remember to "run in" for the first 200 hours.

Yes this is worth noting too, especially for a £600 TV and you want to hook it up to a PC and achieve a crisp image. Mind you, I personally wouldn't expect to get a 42" 1080p plasma for this price, although you can get a good 42" 1080p LCD for this price.

Also worth noting (I think, but I'll probably get told this doesn't matter) is the resolution of this TV is 1024 x 720 (and not 1366 x 768, which is preferable) which may cause loss of picture definition (surely) due to the horizontal display of the image across too few pixels, or at least fewer pixels than a 1366 x 768 TV.

As stezo2k argued, and many other have in the past, yes this TV gives a great picture, and yes it gives a great picture with great black definition on SD video, and is definitely a good buy at the right price, but it doesn't mean this TV doesn't come without limitations, and it's not exactly shocking forum behaviour to point them out.
