Virgin Atlantic: Heathrow to New York in Dec - £271 (Flying Club Members - Was £390!!)

Virgin Atlantic currently have a good deal on for anyone looking to travel to New York in December 2009 and in their flying club.

Prices on their site show as £390 for dates in Dec, but the flying club price (which was £330) has today been reduced to £271 (inc taxes etc) plus 2,000 flying club miles.

If you search online the cheapest prices for 11th-18th Dec, as an example, is £340 ish (with BA, AA or Air France), so it`s a fair saving.

Thought it may help some......

Not voting as this might involve some perk I'm missing, but there have been lots of flights to NY recently for around the the £200-£225 mark recently.

All the £200-£225 ones have to be in travel perids before June and the December ones all come out at around £340 ish going to over £500.

So it's this price £271.00 + 2,000 Frequent flier miles, if you have these, in the Virgin Atlantic Flying Club. Limited in applicability to selected users I'd guess. Those 2,000 miles have a cost implication too.
