what if we had a auction corner set up on here? all the fees can be paid just like ebay but ofcourse at a discounted rate

i think it will be a good idea

i think its would invite a lot of people to the site that you maybe wouldnt want... maybe causing a lot of fraud selling etc. Better the way it is, less haslte and more trust... in my opinion anyway

i'd say bad idea and i'll give you my reasoning

- not everyone will play fair - which is inevitable - so more scammers, more problems (even if you follow the rules)

- more costs / effort / responsibility on hukd - and there are bound to be legal issues which arise

- a lot members wouldn't be willing to engage in ebay style activity - the whole purpose of the fs/t section on hukd is to avoid that and make it simple - hukd provides a platform and off you go - also, you would also get people holding grudges cos they have been outbid or whatever

- the range / quantity of items would not be adequate

- we already have a good established system set up that works and for every complaint there may be regarding fs/t - there are loads more successful and hassle free transactions taking place which don't kick up the same fuss

I have to agree with jonnyq on this one. FS/FT is great for what it's designed for. Those who prefer to auction items should look to Ebay. An auction system here would be more trouble and hassle than it's worth.
