Maybe its being voted cold for the following reason.

Although a lot of people do get away with using these codes, they do sometimes charge you full price when you least expect it (5 months later in my case, luckily only for a few pounds). Thats why I never vote either way for deals using the money off vouchers for littlewoods group.
It can be quite risky, especially if you have used them quite a few times and they catch up with you all at once, and there are plenty of people its happened to!

Lets put it this way if anybody paid £12 full price for this then they need their head examining.
£1.74 is about all it's worth.
Warm on voucher price alone.

The trouble is with these type of deals you could post every single item that £11-£12 in the catalogue and it would be a bargain because you could use a £10 voucher to get it for £1-£2.
The voucher itself is all that needs to be on here so everyone can make up their own minds which item they want £10 off IF they want to risk using a voucher that may well be reclaimed by the littlewoods group later - and, yes I know someone who it happened to aswell!

I voted cold because of the train itself. I bought it for a present and actually returned it because I was so disappointed with it- that's why I voted cold. I wouldn't pay any price for it. Sorry.

Bought this and the other littlewoods deal (the scooter) using the discount codes and was sent emails confirming the price. Checked bank account today and the full amount for both products has been withdrawn
Phoned up to cancel and both items have already been sent so have to refuse delivery when they arrive.

You are always charged the full amount and then the voucher amount, in this case £10 is refunded to your bank account.

I bought one a couple of days ago, got email confirmation saying total price was £1.74 but then £11.74 was debited from my bank account. I rang 08448228000 and spoke to guy on the phone who cancelled my order as the item hadn't been sent (they are currently out of stock!) and I will receive a refund within 14 days! (hopefully)

I am trying to find the same voucher deal on hotukdeals for the newcastle kids away strip for 32p. This is with £10 off. I have been charged the full £10.32 even though the confirmation order says 32p. I first noticed this when I got the delivery. It had £10.32 on the statement. When I telephoned customer services they said I would be credited the £10. When my credit card statement came in no discount had been taken off. When I contacted customer services again they said the voucher was not valid.

What sort of system are they operating. I put in the vocuher code when placing the order and it was accepted. Surely it is not beyond the realms of computer programming to reject any invalid vouchers, etc.

From what I have been reading on these forums about Littlewoods it seems as though these complaints are common. Why are they not sorting out their vourcher/online system.

I wont be buying anything from them again. They have lost a customer with a lot of spending power for the sake of not honouring a £10 voucher.
