It's a good deal although:

1) Tesco are doing Denby now, and sometimes they reduce their box sets and separates to half price. It's great that Tesco sell Denby, but it does make the brand a bit less exclusive.

2) It's been posted here that Denby factory shop sometimes have half price and better offers on box sets as well. (Some maybe slightly imperfect)

Its not the standard Denby ranges Tesco do - its something like "Denby Everyday" - also the factory shops only sell the better ones that failed quality control. I am sure it even mentions this on their site.

Is "White Squares" not the slimmer porcelain stuff and not the more common stoneware?

You get good offers on them every now and again. Mine were £56 plus VAT for a 16 piece set of Regency Green last year. Small and big plates - cups and saucers x 4.

I have never actually used it yet - as I was intending to get the "craftman's mugs" to use instead of the cups, but have not got round to it yet, as we are moving soon.

Their current special on their own site is over £100 for the same with four wine glasses included.

Pity it's plain white.

I'd imagine that colour is used in our prisons and psychiatric hospitals,

but I don't know for sure? lol!

Hi there,

I recently got Costco's latest offers through the post and they are now selling the White Square set for a staggering £37.49 + VAT (£43.11). I tried looking around to see if anyone else has anything similar but they are all around £95 +

The offer lasts from 08.06.09 - 05.07.09 I'm gonna pop doen this weekend and check them out.

Good luck!!
