FLorida flights / holiday

POSTED BY: robind2 11 months, 1 week ago

I am trying to find a holiday to Florida for 4 adults and 4 children around 12/9/09 for two weeks, ot 10 days. The prices still seem to be quite high even though the school hols have finished. Hoping for villa accommodation and flights from London or the Midlands.

At the moment the lowest I have found is £4166, can anyone find any better, please?!

Have you thought about booking flights and accom seperately? Also, you didn't mention it, but I presume you need car hire?

This is a really good site for holiday accomodation, 4 bedroom houses with a pool from around £480 for 10 days: http://www.holidaylettings.co.uk/ren...nes-city/74112

Flights for 4 Adults and 4 Children return Heathrow to Miami seem to be about £2460: http://www.2save.co.uk/flights/search/

Car Hire for a basic 4 door car for 10 days about £160 each * 2 cars = £320: http://www.travelsupermarket.com/car...=0&BnBOption=1

So that would come in at about £3260.

I always fly with Virgin. Reasonable fares. I will be staying at my parents villa next time, which is managed by my brother who lives in Florida. He's alaways on hand to help out if anything goes wrong, or if you need general help. He's lived there 2 years so knows lots of things about the area and can point you in the right direction for most things.

Beautiful villa, see the website for availability and rates: http://www.solana-sunshinevilla.co.uk/index.html
4 bedrooms, private pool and games room.

£500 a week in Sept. But maybe email my Dad and say Alison sent you. He might do you a discount ;)

The dates you need are still available so far.

I hired my car from Budget on West Colonial Drive for 8 days for £117.

Cheapest attraction tickets were from mercurytravel.net.

I'll let you know if I think of anything else.
