Does anyone or can you give me more info on the card. Will it run newish games, albeit on low res, such as Prince of Persia 2008.

Also, does it need extra power for the PSU? And how loud is it and what's the cooling like? And yes, I know it's a low end budget card but I'm still asking!!

Yes, you're right with most SM 2.0 supported games. I had the X800XT Platinum version of your card, but one day I was interested in demo'ing a certain game that required no less than SM 3.0. It took me a year to save up for a card that did. That was a few years ago though, when these cards were quite expensive (relatively speaking anyway).

Not all new games require shader model 3.0 ...new games like Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. supports Shader Model 2.0 on X8XX cards...
