Voted hot! We love lamb in our house but the last few times I've bought a leg the bone has been huge meaning hardly any meat.

The half leg joints are often on at the same price per kilo. Just buy the top end of the leg which has much more meat. For NZ lamb. You should get one for about a fiver at this price per kilo.

Same price in Sainsburys too (Stafford). Also both have pork at under £3/kg and beef joints at about £4/kg. Sunday dinners should be great for a few weeks, time to fill the freezer!
