Now it's £1 off for the April Fools promotional offer! 5% more off with varsity card!

Review from before:

These headphones are honest to god amazing! At first I thought they were WAYY to heavy on the bass but then after manually adjusting the equaliser on my Samsung YP-T10, they became the most crisp and clear headphones on the market! I reguarly listen to heavy metal and the vocals, drums and guitars sound so clean and everything is just TOO right, I just have to share!

My brother bought the Shure SE110 when they were on half price around £20, we tested both with the same player, equaliser, volume and same song. We came to a conclusion that overall the Goldring - it's just so much better and it's louder! It out performed the SE110 which is now retailed at £49!

It also comes with the MagicFoam ear plugs, which you squeeze and it forms a mould exactly how your inner-ear looks like in order to give maximum noise cancellation (it does a damn good job!) and in my opinion they are very comfortable after a long period of use.

At this price they are a steal!

This is reviewed in Gadget show here (Apparently used for Fighter Pilots to block out Helicopter noise!) - http://fwd.five.tv/gadgets/audio-video/hi-fi/headphones-headsets/goldring-gx200-earphones

These are terrible headphones, bass heavy and completely lacking in the mid-range. Send mine back.

Same here, sent them back, got replacement.

Same happened again.

Warning - these have a SERIOUS design flaw and WILL break within weeks.

Play.coms returns policy is poor at best.

You'll be chucking the best part of £15 away.

The foam is very comfy, it also completely blocks out all outside sound. I own a pair and love them, they have survived fine even if I don't use the carry case that came with them.
They may not be the *best* sounding headphones out there in the opinion of an audiophile, but for everyone else they are more than adequate.
I would love to see the people knocking them link us to a better pair for the same price.

These are terrible quality. Once you own a good pair of Sennheiser headphones, you wont go back.

I bought the PX 100 Sennheiser when they were £15 at Play, and now I wouldn't use anything else.

Same happened to mine. They lasted about two weeks. Waste of £10.

I got a pair that way as well (what was that, end of 2007?) and mine still survive.
Probably some slight reservations about build quality, but they do sound good if given a quality source (not so hot running on my MP3 player, but sound great direct from my sound card).

Either way its a decent price, but I probably wouldn't pay much more for them.

They sound just fine to me. The 3 different sized silicone tips are good as is the included marshmallow tips.
Carry case also useful.

I took this offer up last week, and they are on their way back.

Awful, awful sound. Bass is far too heavy, guitars and vocal meld into each other and everything sounds muffled.

Avoid!
