As far as whistles go these are a bit of a classic and are about as good as they get.

Nickel plated brass, non stick pea whistle with tapered mouthpiece to produce high pitch, 20g, 4.5cm long, preferred for soccer, rugby and coaching. £2.67 with free delivery and possible 5% Quidco.

Big deep sound, far carrying, some consider more user friendly.

Recommended for: Coaching, Football

Blowrate: Most effort
Blowsound: High Loudness
Blowtone: Deep

Any Lifeguard will tell you that these whistles are not good. The metal plate chips and splinters cut into your lip. I've been in the business for years and take it from me...buy plastic every time!

These whistles are great for getting the wifes attention. I personally use 1 long whistle for "bring me a bottle of beer" and 3 quick shrills for "get me food" and from time to time 2 quick bursts followed by one long burst for "run me a bath".
