Just been down to Silverlink Wickes with my mate Tommy, snapped up one myself and Tommy bought the other 5, had none left in the back as he was gonna get those to, reckons he will make a mint of ebay with them, tight git!
Before others get carried away dreaming of making their fortune on this item, note that according to amazon, this item weighs 3.8kg boxed. (which is probably about right)
That means postage will be almost 9 quid including signature on delivery.
Bearing in mind you can get this item (albeit branded Draper) delivered free from amazon for £14.99, why would anyone pay more?
Even if you could entice someone to pay £14.99 on ebay for this Wickes branded item (I know I would prefer Draper, especially if it was to be a gift to someone), by the time you've paid your 10% ebay fees (say 50p if you make postage £10) & paypal fees @ 3.4% + 20p (70p),
that leaves about £1.15 profit
(and that doesn't include insertion fees which you'll have to pay unless you are prepared to punt it in an auction starting at 99p)
