I have the Sony NWZ-A828KB, (8GB) which cost more than both the above 6 months ago.
Highly recommended though I hardly ever use the wireless headphones as the sound comes and goes when you are on the move.

I bought the Play one and I've had no probs with the headphones.... in fact I bought the unit/headphones specifically for jogging. No issues so far... Awesome sound quality on regular headphones though.... well worth the money.

I have the 16gb one. I wouldn't say the bluetooth feature is rubbish, just that it doesn't really live up to expectations. Still a nice feature to have. If the player is out of your pocket, on a table, or on the top of a running machine, then it's absoltely fine. But, put it in your pocket and you can expect it to cut out every now and then when you turn your head quickly for example. Trying to keep the player in a bag, maybe on the train etc is a definite no-no. It cuts out too much.

Also a bit of hiss at high volumes with the bluetooth. If you like listening very loud, it may irritate a bit.

Both of these problems are well documented, which seems to be why sony hasn't stuck with a bluetooth feature on more recent models.

I bought one of those arm strap holder things off Ebay.... probably why I don't get the problems as much.

I use the bluetooth audio feature to listen to music on my phone. I have the bitpool set very high, with the refresh rate at 48KHz. I bought some samsung bluetooth headphones and it'd cut out all the time..especially if I put the phone in my pocket or even held it away from me...but i bought some Nokia BH-503 headphones and i've never looked back. There is no cut out whatsoever and the sound is far superior.

Sometimes the cutting out is due to the headphones...and the headphones that come with these probably are quite cheap! Might be worth getting if you already have another set of headphones though!

Bluetooth does cut out occasionally but only if the player is in your right pocket, put it in your left hand side and you should have no probs.

I went from Man-Birm last week player in suitcase and it did not cut out once. The only gripe i have is i wish the headphones were adjusatble at the back, it can be a bit annoying if your coat has a high collar. Also if your not aware the headphones buttons on them for skiping tracks and volume control so u dont need to get the player out.

Also headphones are great as a handsfree set, you can dial the last number by using the headset too.
