Synopsis
Living in a small seaside town and growing up in a family-run retirement home, Edward (Bill Milner) isn’t your ordinary 10-year-old. He’s obsessed with ghosts, and his parents (Anne-Marie Duff and David Morrisey) worry about him. When Clarence (Michael Caine), a retired magician, comes to stay with the family, Edward is forced to interact with the grumpy old man. As the weeks progress, Clarence teaches Edward magic and persuades him to engage with the living, while the young boy helps Clarence confront the ghosts of his past.
From the producer of Little Miss Sunshine and the Harry Potter movies, and the director of Boy A, comes Is Anybody There?, a hilarious story about two unlikely friends who inspire each other to live life to the full.
