FOUND BY: Jonsend 7 months, 1 week ago

This has been on before and I've been using it for months but I've submitted it again because it is a fantastic bargain for low volume users.

Just 47p for the sim instore and online (delivered)

It uses the Vodaphone network and I had no trouble transferring my number over (from Orange).

* 8p per minute to any UK mobile or standard fixed line phone, anytime
* 4p per text
* 20p per MB to surf the internet
* 20p per minute to call any other country from the UK

Monthly Line Rental: £0.00
Landline Peak: 8p
Landline Off-Peak: 8p
Same Network Peak: 8p
Same Network Off-Peak: 8p
Other Network Peak: 8p
Other Network Off-Peak: 8p
Voicemail Peak: 8p

I changed over this week, my only gripe is you have to pay 25p for the privilege of speaking to an operator, which you have to do to transfer your number.

When I got mine I was given £1 credit to cover this.

You'd have to use your phone very little to make this worthwhile.

I am quite a light user so it is ideal for me and I mainly use the internet for checking emails which costs 1p to check each time. I occasionally look at the bbc news site but I use the low graphics site to reduce data transfer: http://news.bbc.co.uk/text_only.stm

I meant that if you spent £20 a month on a phone you'd have up to 200 minutes or 500 texts.

Not a lot considering something like an O2 simplicity contract.

I spend less than £5 a month so that why ive been with Asda a while now, dosent suit everybody but a contract dosent suit everybody either
