£10.99

FOUND BY: Villa 7 months, 3 days ago

£10.99
Cheapest price I can find anywhere. You can use Quidco too.
Free delivery.
Works out cheaper per disk than buying the 25 pack (which FYI is £28.99)

These are probably the best quality dual layer DVDs around.

Sadly, the RAC 5% discount does not seem to apply to computer media.

They've been this price for as long as I can remember but I don't think anyone has posted it, so heat added.

Nah, they were £11.99 previously on Play.
I think this is an offer they've got on at the moment.

The most reliable media for xbox360 backups, amongst other things.
Anyone who buys any other cheaper inferior brand is an idiot. Period.

Good price and great media. However, if you need some quick they are reduced in Currys to £14.97. In my local PC World next door they are £25.
Not as cheap as play but a good price if you must pick up.

Surely it depends on what you use them for?? I get 5 for a £1 in poundland and believe it or not i have never had a failure yet. That means I get 50 for the price you get 10 and as they only need to last for a short period this certainely does not make me an idiot.

The fact that you confuse dual layer dvds with regular single layer ones however.........

I'll take that one on the chin. Learn something new every day. I have a dvd i have wanted to back up that is 7gb. As my lappy advises Dual RW drive, Double Layer I presume one of these would do the job?? I have also seen cheap pre-recorded DVD's with movies on both sides. Would you have to turn these over to get the full use? If so is there much point in using these over two single sided disc? Any comments appreciated

The movie would fit on a dual layer disc as they have a capacity of about 8.5gb on the one recordable side, you would not have to flip the disc over.

FYI you could get the film on a single layer 4.7gb disc by ripping the DVD with software like DVDFab which would also compress the video files down to fit the single layer disc. If you opt to remove the extras, any unused audio file etc you would need less compression too which is always better.

Indian Verbatims > every other DL DVD (other than SIngapore made ones).

If you prefer inferior quality, good chance of a duff disk and don't mind your data degrading sooner than you think, then yeah sure go ahead and save a few quid now by being shortsighted.
Those of us who need reliable media for purposes such as burning xbox360 backups will swear by Verbaitm DL disks.
Except no substitute - Verbatim all the way. You will appreciate your investment in the long term.
