I was passing the main Empire Direct Head Office in Leeds (Roundhay Road) and I saw many people carrying TV's out of the main showroom.

Thankfully i didnt need to call the police, the administrators were selling off everything (SHELVES included!).

From what I can remember :

all TV's were 30% off,
TV cabinets 50% off,
Washing Machines between 30% and 50% off.
Vacumn cleaners 30% off,
American F/Freezers 30% off
Rangemasters 30% off
toasters 30% off
etc etc... you get the picture!

The signs state that stock is arriving daily.

Note sure if this is bring repeated at the other outlets.

** the toasters were £10 (posh ones) hence the price on this deal, but I appreciate other things will be more expensive - before you shoot me down!

The Ingleby road branch has a new name over the door now (Sonic) so looks like it's been rebranded. The canal road branch was a distribution depot with collection facility and a very small clearance centre, so I wouldn't expect much selling to be going on down there.
