Apple will replace broken headphones for free.

I rang them up, explained the button / mic no longer worked, which was true, they sent me a new pair and a jiffy bag, popped the old ones in and posted them (opted to pay and send recorded else they charge you if they do not receive the old ones within 14 days) but the bag is freepost

thats what i was thinking, surely it would be a good excuse to get some half decent ones than some rip offs of already naff ones

i would stay clear of this company - i ordered a couple of times and have never received them, their customer service is shocking as they never email you back or you can not get anyone on the phone. Lucky i paid with Paypal so have started a resolution with them.

However, anyone who spends £100+ on an ipod should really spend an extra £15 on half-decent headphones.

I ordered some of these a few weeks ago and they arrived yesterday, can't say i was all that impressed. I know there knock offs but the speakers aren't even glued inside the housing so any sound through them results in a really annoying rattle. Wouldn't recommend them. Its like the old chestnut "You get what you pay for"

I agree, but iPhone's (exl. 3G) dont accept non-iPod headphones without a connector jack, which is just that bit extra fiddly.

Hm, mine really are great. I was apprehensive myself, in fact I only posted because I was suprised at their quality. Perhaps the build quality is variable, depending on the batch..?
