Good price...but it's not butter...

"Willow combines traditionally churned buttermilk, vegetable oil and cream in one delicious spread. It is now virtually trans fat free and does not contain hydrogenated vegetable oils."

Ugh! Why not just buy butter, which tastes a lot better than this concoction.

This is a funny product, I can't quite work out what it's for. There are already butter substitutes that taste like butter. This is like that but comes wrapped like butter does so you can cut it into chunks for weighing.

But as far as I can gather it's a spread, not for cooking with so why not just use a tubbed spread?

From what I can gather it's no good for shortening either.

Aaaah. I just looked at it's website. Look at this quote:

Willow is great for older consumers and families who love its creamy taste. The packaging features a range of cooking tips and recipes, passing on some kitchen-based wisdom

It doesn't really sell it to me. But this is still a good deal at 50p each so if you want some of this stuff then hot.

I really think the OP should take the word 'butter' out of the description and title.
