Fantastic price...only £35.88 for a box of 12.....that beats Tesco doing a box of 6 for £33 the equivalent of £5.50 per bottle..its nearly half price at Lidl !!!

if you feel bad about shopping in Lidl you can always put the wine in a Tesco bag.

Obviously instore only...had quite a few boxes instore at my local, the manager said some local restaurant was in buying a dozen boxes.....check your local Lidl

Its the Zinfandel grape and although it says white in the title it is actually rose, SWMBO loves the Rose, first I knew was when she told me to carry it in from the car...nearly 11% proof..., apparantly there were loads of boxes being carried out by business owners...obviously at that price they were going to make on it...heading down tomorrow for another 12...that's the summer BBQs sorted

You can also buy this at the equvalent of 3.75 per 750 ml botte if you go to Asda and buy this in the 250ml mini bottles. Asda does these for 4 for £5 (that works out 3.75 for 750 ml)

I find these much more convienant if you drink infrequently.

All very well, but if you don't drink frequently it'll end up going down the sink. A stopper will only prolong the life of wine by a few days at best (unless you're happy to drink it when it's oxydized). Even the best stoppers, i.e. the ones that actually insert gas into the bottle and totally seal it, can't keep a wine in good form for more than a week.

As I say, my comment is totally redundant if you don't mind drinking it when it's past its best.

I know what you mean.....if anyones home is like ours....lol....we use the big wine glasses...think they're about 20 or 25 cl....so thats only about a glass or two for me and the missus....all gone....next bottle....lol

Epic Fail here in Sutton Coldfield. Went to the New Oscott Lidl and was told "we've NEVER stocked Blossom Hill".

So beware, would appear to be store specific.
