I know only class 4 but the double pack of 4GB works out cheaper per card at £10.49 for two, and most people won't notice the difference.

However Class 6 is better for video IMO ..

The prices are getting very good for SDHC ,

yes if you need it for general use and snap shots go with the above advise , thanks

The 16gb has been £17.99 for ages I was waiting for it to frop to £14.99, then it goes upto £24.99, typical.

I usually go for Sandisk cards for reliability.

I have the Canon HF100 HD camcorder and I would think that that is one of the best HD camcorders in it's price range using only SD card and using class 4 cards is no probs at the highest setting so buying a class 6 (apart from using even better spec'd camcorders) doesn;t justify the extra in cash.

The only real benifit with the class 6 is the download time will be faster. In terms of picture quality it will make no difference. Class 4 is perfectly OK for video.
