haha such a pointless product considering its INSIDE your pc, but i can see the attraction all the same!
Well, a number of peoples have windows on the side of their pc. Geil for example produce memory with a dragon on the front and two leds for eyes that liight up when the PC is running:
http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/G...C2_6400/2.html. Crucial also has "tracer" ram that has leds that flash whne there is activity:
"Ballistix Tracer memory features a black PCB, black integrated heat spreaders, and two rows of eight "chasing" red and green LEDs atop the module, circulating at varying speeds proportional to usage. A custom-designed circuit relays bus activity to the LEDs, allowing them to accurately reflect usage of each memory module. In addition, eight blue ground effects LEDs emit a constant glow near the pins."
Personally, I'd be worried that it deter from performance and reliability. Regardless, my case has no window and lives under the desk. So not for me but there is a market for pretty coloured ram, led fans, neon wires inside the case...
