EXPIRED - Paid £37 for an item which wasn't delivered and seller won't communicate

Hi
Not sure who i need to talk to about this. I bought a jumper from user: DavidEmm which was not delivered. He said he would contact Royal Mail and refund me when Royal Mail pays up. I asked him how long this would be, which he answered 'upto 4 weeks'. I waited the 3 weeks and PMed him for an update. It is now 6 weeks and I have sent serveral messages which he has not responded to.

Can anyone help? Thanks

i dont thnk you have any protection if its paypal gift,he seems to be selling alot of stuff on here...but maybe he is waiting on RM getting back to him

i know and i do sympathise but by buying and paying that way your agreeing to those conditions...its a bummer,and a risk..i dont know if there is anything you can do(i doubt it though) ...good luck tho x

sorry to hear you havnt received your item but did you get any conmtact details, like fone number and address like the rules suggest?

if not contact a few other people he may of completed sales with on here, is all you can do im afraid.

personally i wont trade without the above and if im really unsure i ask fdr driving license or utility bill....

I can't think of what you can do.
I'm assuming you don't have a phone number.
Mods used to have a black list for peeps like this but I don't know if it's still going.
Try contacting them and see what they say.
Use the "contact us" at the bottom of the screen.
Could also check with people he bought from.
They would have his address.

It doesnt look like great news. I didnt get a phone number, however I have his hotmail address which I have emailed.
I remembered him having a website for a mobile disco and thinking that was a bit random - this however has now been taken off, maybe suggesting he has left HUKD because of me.
Anyway, his location is Bishopton, so i did a quick google for mobile discos in Bishopton and found the site that I had been to before: http://www.partymusicdirect.co.nr/. Which says is owned by two friends, one being David Martin (DavidEmm?). Anyway I could go on doing some detective work - but wondering the ethicalness of this. Can a mod let me know what I should do?

first and only priority detective

someone will have his address for sure as hes bought from people
