Second that - got a laptop from them last year - the refurbishment had been done by the manufacturer - impossible to tell that it wasn't brand new. Anyway £60ish for a branded 19" widescreen - got to be too good to miss - damn - there goes this months mortgage overpayment!

It does when it comes from Big pockets.... I orderd a laptop from them and when i got it "OMG" looked like it had been kick around a car park all its life totally battered ,and some of my friends have had the same tatty secondhand rubbish from them "AVOID AVOID AVOID"

voted cold for seller , would never buy a used monitor from big pockets again, or anything used from them for that matter.
second hand 19 inch monitors are generally around £40 from computer fairs and there is always one on somewhere, much better than buying from these fools.

I agree - the terms 'Grade A' and 'Refurbished' at Big Pockets do seem to mean 'used / second hand'. I ordered a 'refurbished' 15" LCD monitor from Big Pockets (over a year ago) and it arrived in a shocking state. It was covered in dust and office post-it notes from previous use, and the wire covering at the rear was damaged, showing exposed bare wire! I would never trust the 'refurbished' descriptions again!

I recently ordered one of these monitors (my mistake was also adding another couple of bits and pieces). They cancelled the monitor two days after shipping the order so I paid £8 delivery that I really would not have done without the monitor!

4 emails in and not even a reply.. yet!

Still good find by OP - h & r for the deal!

Voted cold, as I've also had dealings with bigpockets in the past and the savings are only about 25 to 30% off a new price for most of the items, for a twelfth of the warranty (3 months instead of 3 years)

e.g. the Hanns G 173A is 42 plus postage from BP for a refurb compared to 60 plus a smaller postage cost from tekheads.
