Virgin balance transfer credit card now offering 16 months 0% on balance transfers!!!

FOUND BY: TheRealMcLovin 6 months, 3 weeks ago

Was just searching for a credit card with a long interest free period to pay off my debt and found this one has 16 months! This means that you can move your balance over from another card and pay no interest on it until the period is up.

There is a 2.98% balance transfer fee, but this charge seems to apply to any card nowadays. I don't recommend you get this card if you want to use it to pay for things, as it doesn't have a great 0% purchases period - I will be setting up monthly payments then cutting mine up!

Looked around everywhere and this seems to beat all other interest free balance transfer periods.

Virgin - sleazy company.

Grass up your co conspirators so you get fined less etc.

The only reason they are called virgin is so it does not look like they are screwing everyone.

Good Deal

Next best at the moment I think is Abbey with 15 months 0% on balance transfers with 3% fee , 3 months 0% on purchases and typical APR 15.9%

Then proceeded to try & get me tied to another card with 36% interest!!!

Virgin are run by MBNA - So if you have any of their affiliate cards (eg. MBNA, A&L Credit cards) they will turn you down.

So true - MBNA underwrite so much credit card debt in this country and I bet you've already got an MBNA card without really knowing it.

had a letter from virgin the other day,typical apr is going up to 24.9% after promotional period. i have now transferred to loydstsb 0% balance transfer for 14 months
