Somerfield seem to be doing a 50% off deal on all Filippo Berio oils, i've seen the Extra Virgin Olive Oil at two stores over the past week. At this price it's as cheap as the store's own brand, but 10 times better.

However, the 500ml bottles of Filippo Berio Gusto Fruttato Extra Virgin Olive Oil are half price at £1.99 at Tesco.

Just to add to the comparison, this was just under £16 for 8 x botts yesterday in Makro - so still £2.00 a bottle. Curiously, a 3 litre tin (equivalent to six bottles) was the same price!

this deal was at my local somerfield weeks ago tho not no more. they are now doing the berio pure olive oil @ £4.12 bogof, asked about extra virgin and its no longer on offer at least not in my local store. picked up a few bottles other week and its a lovely taste so if you can get it i would stock up.

For anyone who hasn't noticed, Tesco and Asda are price matching and have the 500ml bottles of Filippo Berio Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Mild & Light Olive Oil and Olive Oil for £2.00 each. This works out much cheaper than buying any other size bottle of these oils.
