ACER 7720G Refurbished 17" Core 2 Duo Laptop Blue-RAYr 3GB 250GB 11 months interest free also with nVidia GeForce 9300M GS £449 @ Dixons

£449.00

FOUND BY: Roccostan 6 months, 2 weeks ago

I know this is £20 cheaper at curry's but Dixons offer 11 months Free Interest option.
I am able to save approx £40 every month in a savings account and in 11 months can then repay the balance in full without incurring any interest. Ive researched most of the refurbished laptops and this seems to be a gr8 spec. ..

Also about the warranty at least it comes with 12 months warranty unlike some other companies who only offer 90 days on refurbs, i am able to extend for £27 for upto 2 years with Acer Direct and then add it onto my barclays addition extended warranty account for a free 3rd year of extended warranty (those with a barclays or rbs (or any other bank) incentive current account know what im on about)

Just wondered what every1 else thought..

They have this at Argos for £449.99. Although I don't know how the spec compares exactly.

your're right vicar, it seems the Argos Laptop has 4gb Ram instead of 3 but doesnt have the BLU RAY dvd drive which wasnt that important to me anyway, HD is good enuf for me..

I guess it makes sense to buy something new at the same price instead of refurbished, therefore making the Argos deal much more attractive but interest free deal with Dixons is appealing to me, i guess ths makes the finance option attractive and not the deal itself,

My other option is to buy it from Argos but with an interest free credit card unless of course argos offer interest free finance package.

The Blu Ray could be useful for you, so you could always buy this to beef it up a bit!

The Argos machine already has 3gb ram, really is very sufficient and wont need beefing up, unsure how it may help blu-ray. Anyway I just applied for an Argos Interest Free mastercard and got it, 6 months Interest free so I have to save about £75 per month

The Argos one already has 4GB. I was suggesting the upgrade for the one at Dixons. Good choice on the Argos one though

having earlier agreed the argos one is a better option I am now going to disagree. This argos one has a shared graphiocs whilst this has a excellent graphics card for gaming and watching dvd's etc, with the added blu-ray it makes it miles better than the Argos one, although refurbished i can live with that as it has its 12 month warranty
