Why the coldness?

I know the game isn't amazing but it isn't that bad to some of the crap that gets put out, it is a bit similar to BF2 and BF2 is pretty good, it does feel a bit like a mod for BF2 but there is a new patch due soon and there are lots of players online.

An explanation of coldness would be nice.
