Nice champagne on sale in plymouth store for £11.99 whcih is a lot cheaper than normal, seen it usually for about £25, i worked for princess cruiselines before and it recently replaced moet & chandon as the house champagne, so it is fairly decent quality. They had some others too like tattinger for £16 but they were sold out. These champagne deals are to clear stock, so when they are gone they are gone! I bought a few to stock up. Maybe online too, i dont know.

That is indeed a good price. Although not £25 - generally about the £20 mark.

Thanks though, will pick up a bottle as a thanks for my neighbour, for mowing my lawn!

Good price! Can confirm it's usually around 18 to 20 mark. It's a really good value champagne, although of course over time the quality depends on the grape harvest that year. It has a lemony bitter taste, not too strong , but give it a good kick.

It is a non-vintage champagne so the individual harvest shouldn't matter as they blend the wine from a number of years to maintain a 'house style'
Good price though. Especially with the Pound vs Euro at the moment. Champagne prices have been creeping up of late.

It doesn't depend on the grape harvest that year - this is non-vintage, so it's made from wines from many different years, different villages etc., blended to the house style by the chef de caves. Hervé Ladouce is their main man if memory serves me right.

Just in case anyone was wondering, this offer is still on in Sainsbury's around the south and south-west of England. They also have Lanson Rosé brut NV down from £29.99 to £14.98.
