Seems like an okay deal to me.

If they honour the £8 Quidco after the trial of three magazines, I'd say its probably worth having ago - the toolkit may be a bit crap, but it will come in useful, I guess.

They've done this deal before, the toolkit arrived for some, not others. The quidco payment is still in my account, due for Feb 2007. I recently cancelled after the 3 issue's. Didn't read them tbh, but certainly a good deal

I cannot get in to widearea.co.uk. Is this an official partner of computer shopper? The logo on the page does not match the official logo.

I scared of entering my debit card details. Even if it is secure.

i think you phone them up, although im curious as to how you cancel as well.... iv tried having 2 other subscriptions, first one they didnt accept my form of payment so i didnt recieve anyhting but a letter instructing me how to pay. i recieved my other subscription + my free gift + my quidco payment but i didnt actually get charged as they couldnt accept my form of payment either!
when i tried to cancel by email i just got a auto response which was of no help.

Cancel your DD and you cancel your subscription. Simple, really. I joined this last time around, but still haven't received the tool kit. Sounds like it was no great loss though...

If you look in the magazine there is a list of phone numbers, there is one for "subscriptions", just call them up, say you want to cancel, they will ask for your postcode and name and cancel it straight away.
