EXPIRED - Photoshop Elements 7 for £59.23 @ Adobe

£59.23

-115°

FOUND BY: vincem 10 months, 10 hours ago

EXPIRES: 01/06/2009

Adobe Photoshop Elements is ideal for the casual photographer, giving a decent organiser and plenty of more advanced editing tools to tweak the images. It is also one of the programs many photography magazines give tutorials for fixing.

Until 1st June Adobe are offering up to 25% off the price (for some reason they are now charging the same price for full and upgrades) giving a download price of £59.23 or a delivered box price for £61.93

Should also be able to get extra 10% off using TopCashBack or Quidco.

edit: link updated as it didn't appear to go to the right page all the time

Not recommended unless you have a really powerful computer, too much clutter. For smaller computers or notebooks you can get free small photo editors easy.

Of course, if you want the best, you can always save up for real Photoshop CS4.

Sorry but this is simply not true. PSE runs very very well on most machines as it takes not nearly as much as any of the CS suites.
The smaller editors do not nearly as much as elements even if it is the baby of the range. It is still a great piece of software .
I agree that CS is vgood but unless you are a pro there is generally not much point in spending several hundred pounds on this.
All said and done though you can get the PSE boxed for same cost in PCW at the moment.

Thanks for posting OP

I've been trying to get it from PCW for a while but never found it on there site (so I can get the TCB/Quidco benefits too). The closest I found from DSGi was Microwarehouse who wanted approx £69.

I've downloaded both trials from Adobe (Elements + PS CS4). PS CS4 run much faster on my notebook, loading and executing tasks (dual core + 2MB ram) .

On my desktop, which has a faster processor and more ram, the difference is not that great.

This is why I said PS is faster than Elements.
