Aluminium Venetian Blind 180cm, White - £15.71 @ Tesco Direct

£15.71

169°

FOUND BY: andrewduffell 6 months, 1 day ago

This is the cheapest blind of this width that I can find, and it can be trimmed down to size if it is too wide.

180cm Wide
160cm Drop

This stylish aluminium Venetian blind comes in a modern white colour. It is easy to fit and can be trimmed to size for versatility. This blind is suitable for recess fixing and can be face or top fixed.

Can the people who are voting this cold please provide me a link to a better deal? This is the cheapest I've been able to find for a venetian blind of this width.

I had a look on the Jysk website: http://www.jysk.co.uk/ and they don't seem to do ones of 180cm.

Interestingly the White one is (hopefully) correctly reflected as 180cm wide in all the info, but the Silver one isn't. Anyway have ordered one of each for a couple of rooms - Ikea used to be a good source of these but stopped them at Xmas'time.

my white one's just arrived - right size But it had no packing around it - just the clear plastic box that you see in the shop. Seems ok though as the van driver travelled with it on the passenger seat. Getting it put up will be another thing....

Blind installed but gearbox that makes the slats turn isn't working. Is it me - Anyone? Help - thanks

Ok - forget that - dh took it down and fiddled with it and it's fine now. He doesn't know what he did, but it gave the wand some tension whereas before it was loose.
It looks lovely! Thanks OP

One step forwards/sideways/backwards : Went in to pick up my 180cm white & silver... half expecting the Silver to be the wrong size... but both 180cm HOWEVER my silver one had been damaged in transit with the end of the clear plastic box totally knocked off and tube torn off a bit and end of the fitting/slats not 100% so had to reject that and order a fresh one to be delivered instead (and they waived the £5 delivery charge of course). The white one is branded Harrison Drape. The blinds appear in their printed catalogue at this £15.71 price (where we had to find the part # to reorder the one to be delivered). Thanks to OP anyway

PS: Two days later and had all my refunds/credits applied and the replacement Silver delivered "between 7am and 7pm" (actual 10am). No extra packing beyond that clear plastic box, but this one arrived in one piece, a little bit knocked/cracked but blind looks perfect so alls well that ends well - eventually. Good find OP!

..the Tesco one is much better because it is aluminium slats (stronger & longer lasting)... the wilkinson is plastic

I've been meaning to order one of these for my kitchen (still can't decide between white or silver), seems like a good price for the size. For those who have purchased, is the blind of good/fair quality?

I am aware that the Wilko one has plastic slats and the Tesco one are aluminium, but the original poster wrote "This is the cheapest blind of this width that I can find..." That's why I posted by comment.

You imply in your reply that blinds with aluminium slats are more suitable for purpose than those made of plastic, but such an assumption could be debatable!
