D-Line range of AV Trunking only 47p reduced from £29.99 at Currys - instore only

£0.47

270°

FOUND BY: mminghella 6 months, 1 day ago

I was in St Helens Currys today and was surprised to see that they had reduced the entire range of D-Line AV trunking to 47p.

It scanned at £3.97, but they rang it through at 47p after checking the shelf labels.

This is excellent quality stuff with a hinged, curved lid. I know that £29.99 is a stupid original price for this, but that was the RRP!

There was only the micro trunking left in St Helens - I bought 6, but there were about 4 left

Pretty certain its on the system at £3.97 the small corner / skirting connectors are priced at 47p so think they made a mistake and you got lucky there.

However I do think this stuff is a bargain at £3.97 you get a lot for your money.

In the store, they had 2 sets of labels for each one. One was priced at £3.97 and the other was 47p. The 47p labels were for the maxi, mini & micro, as were the £3.97...if I explained that correctly

The girl at the till said that if they had the same barcode, I could have it for 47p. This happened the last time I got some at £2.97

I seriously don't know what the D-Line range of AV-Trunking is. Sounds like something to do with audio and video cable / cabling accessories or something of that sort. Oh I dunno

Its for hiding the speaker wires and cables for your AV gear, I have the micro trunking for the speaker wires and the fatter stuff to hide the sky hd wires and power lead going to my wall mounted TV, its very good and can be painted with emulsion so it blends in with your walls.

I can only find the accessory pack online btw does anyone have a link where you can buy the actual trunking.

I can't afford to as I spend all of my money on trunking

That's what it is. Rather than have wires trailing everywhere, or knowcking holes in walls, the plastic trunking hides the wires inside. The curved decorative ones look better than the flat square type

Instore only I'm afraid

If you are stuck I have some of the D-line stuff that I have left over and very much doubt I will ever use it.

It's the 16mm x 8mm, semi-circular stuff.

Thanks for the offer but I have already done the livingroom, I was thinking about putting some speakers in the garden sometime so would have bought some for when I got round to it but will leave until I see if I get round to it at all.

Thanks again

It would be inside the house hiding the wires that would run out to the backgarden, I think it would be waterproof anyways if its put up with the joins that opens at the bottom.
