With Adaptive HD Enhancer, the DMREX769 continues to upscale SD sources to Full, 1080p, HD, but now does so more skilfully than ever. Upscaling to HD enhances the picture quality greatly and improves upon the original picture by around six times: the bigger your HD TV is the greater the improvement you'll notice.
Another new feature with the DMREX769 is the latest Control 4 version of VIERA Link. Connect this Panasonic DVD recorder to your VIERA TV and it will automatically download the TV channel setting information. New power supply technology allows the DMREX769 to use less energy when on stand-by than before. Finally, the case is much shallower than before meaning this DVD recorder will fit where previous models have stood proud from a cabinet or shelf!
As with previous Panasonic DVDRs, at the heart of this wonderfully flexible recorder is a Super Multi Format system that can utilise pretty much any blank disc you'd care to throw at it. DVD+R/+RW, DVD-R/-RW and even DVD-RAM discs can all be used for recording. Yet, the hassle free recording doesn't end there.
