I love this... one time, the cheapest tackiest frozen pizza was "edge to edge" because that was the easy and cheap way to make them, by machine - even now, the "Smartprice" things still look like this! Stick them in the oven, and the gloop & grease drops off the edge and makes a mess

Then they improved quality and manufacturing methods so that frozen pizza now looks like a proper one, with a border - then they bring back the machine made ones as if it is some sort of vast improvement!

Marketing - You can fool some of the people.
