Which part of the Lakes is it you want to go to?
Do you mean £100 each night or £100 total for both nights?

I guess something like a pub B&B would be best....

This appears to be prices from £25 pppn....worth inquiring perhaps?

OMG I just thought I would check out Travel Lodge in the Lake District and found out that they are now charging you to park your car in their car park.. what's that all about?

anyway it's about £65 a night and I'm sure you could get B&B in a pub for that price

Have you considered a room in a Youth Hostel?
A private room would probably cost between £40 and £70 a day depending on the location.

There are lots of b&b's for a little over £50 - £60 seems the more typical rate, but there are some really nice ones. I stayed at a really nice one in Keswick a couple of months ago - quaint, near absolutely stunning scenery and one of the main towns so plenty to do, think it was £55 for a night. Late rooms is worth a look!
