i dont know a great deal about em i been searching for a cheap entry level projector this is about best i can find.if its no good shoot it down in flames then i know not to buy it.

you ought to save up a bit more and go for something HD Ready.

thanks for posting phil i was trying to keep sub £400 is the difference worth such a step up in price?.any help much appreciated.

definitely - hence why I am yet to buy.

Started looking at the £400-£500 ones and thought they were good.

Then saw the £1500-£2000 ones and was blown away - but while I've been saving for a Sony VPL-HW10 it's gone up £500!!! Now I don't know whether to get finance or carry on saving in the hope the exchange rates will get better.
